What are the notable differences when you change a Prompt Table from Edit to NoEdit?

With Edit option you can give the data in the field(other than prompt values) with your own. But if NoEdit, then we cant give data other than prompt values from prompt table.

Sorry, above answer came as exactly opposite. It should be like with EDIT option we can’t give data other than prompt values from prompt table. and with NO EDIT you can give the data in the field(other than prompt values) with your own.

Simplest way to remember is: EDIT : you can’t edit the fieldvalues, stick with whatever the prompt provides NO EDIT : you can add your values other than provided by the prompt.

in the prompt able edit means that allows a user to enter the system values int the prompt table with no edit means that allows the system values as well as user own values.This is the main difference between prompt table edit and prompt table with noedit
