State Records in Application Engine

How many State Records can an Application Engine have?

An AE can have n number of state records. But only one can be default state record.
For others (n-1) state records we have to mention records name before using it unlike default state records.

Default state records are referred….directly
And nan default state records are referred by….(record.fieldname)
