For security reasons, it is common to set an idle timeout on websites so that sessions get timed out after a certain time of inactivity. This feature is available in PeopleSoft as well.

At what levels can be set the timeout intervals in PeopleSoft?

    This can be done at two levels:

    1. Permission List level
    2. Web Server level

    Timeout can be set at following Levels

    1) Web server timeouts.
    2) Application server timeouts.
    3) Process Scheduler timeouts
    4)PIA timeouts
