   Following are the steps to generate the xml publisher reports usind PS-Query as a datasource.

   1- Create a ps-query as per the requirement.
   2- Create a data source defination from the PIA, Ensure that the query name and the datasource name should be same.
   3- Create a template using template builder.
   4- Create report defination and upload the created template in report defination.
   5- Run the report.

   In addition to the given step by sagarpkulkarni,

   addl in Step#2, in creating the Data Source, ensure to generate the XML and XSD schema and download the XML and XSD file after generated.

   addl in Step#3, load the XML file in the template since the XML file contains the fields that will be used in the template.
