After my last post on PeopleTools 8.50, I, like everyone else, was anxiously waiting to know the date of this Tools release.
It was at this time that I got a chance to shoot this question to one of the trainers from Oracle. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity and went ahead with the question. Got an answer too!
“PeopleTools 8.50 would be released in 2009. At this point, we can’t reveal any further details about the release date” – this was the answer I had to satisfy myself with!
So it could take at most four more months [Sept to Dec] before we could lay our hands over it.
That said, I read here that the planned release date according to Doc ID 813258.1 is 9/18/2009

Earlier this month, I was swept off my feet after watching the change in the look and feel and features like cascading menus which would drastically increase the responsiveness of the application.
Waiting to get hands-on!
